The Greenworks 20-Inch 40V Twin Force cordless lawn mower is arguably the greatest cordless mower of 2018. On our list of best cordless mowers, we had this model listed as the very strongest choice. We still are of this belief because no mower has packed as much versatility in one product in the same way as this one. It is very mobile, has a sufficient amount of strength, and is fairly priced. When you are able to find a mower of this calibre at a fair price, more often than not you’ll want to purchase it because they don’t come around very often.
Performance
As the best mower on our list, we had to be quite certain that the product we chose as our #1 option was one that performed at a high level. We can honestly say that this mower is as strong as advertised, and maybe even more. The 40V system and 20-Inch cutting deck is definitely a big positive. Its dual blades offer better cut quality and when you combine that with the fact that it is a relatively easy product to mow with, you get a very high quality product.
Maneuverability & Mobility
Cordless mowers are unlike zero turn mowers in that they are mainly all quite mobile and easy to use. Truthfully, there is not much need for this category when reviewing these products. Out of all ten on our list, only a handful could be described as not being mobile. Ironically though, the second mower on our list turned out to be a little weak in this category. This was the Snapper XD. This particular Greenworks is one of the easiest to push out of all ten. Power and ease of use is a terrific combination.
Durability
It is difficult to speak about the level of durability at this point in time. We have not yet had enough time to spend with the mower and see how it holds up to wear and tear. Our model has been used weekly for a period of 3 months at the time of this writing and shows no signs of slowing down. Just like we experienced with the Husqvarna Z246, we found a mower that has all of the qualities you would want and it holds up quite well.
To Conclude
There is really nothing negative to be said of the Greenworks Twin Force lawn mower. It has the performance, style, durability, and more. If you’re in the market for a new cordless lawn mower, you really can’t go wrong in choosing to buy this model. Only the Snapper and Black+Decker come close in terms of overall greatness.
